Summary

As a Communications Consultant within the Section of Education for Inclusion and Gender Equality, I contributed to digital and visual communications to promote the visibility of the section’s programs such as the UNESCO, UNFPA and UN Women Joint Programme for the Empowerment of Adolescent Girls and Young Women through Education.

Responsibilities

  • Design social media images

  • Copy and content writing in English and French

  • Digital communications strategy for social media campaigns

Social Media Designs

Images and GIFs created for International Day of Persons with Disabilities to promote inclusive practices in education.

General GIFs created to support the promotion of inclusion in education on social media.

Articles

I wrote a few articles to demonstrate the impact of the Joint Programme in Mali, Tanzania, and Nepal using stories and information that I collected from field officies.

Empowering Girls and Communities Through Quality Education

My contribution to the communications team also went towards collecting and writing stories and articles for the UNESCO website. To the right is a copy of one of the articles that I helped with writing along with a team of editors and writers on the communication team.
